I found North Texas LEAD to be a gem in the midst of a vast job seeking search. LEAD provided invaluable services with regards to interviewing techniques, resume assistance, coaching, networking and ultimately endorsement. I was interviewed by a professional and diverse panel who wholeheartedly embraces and projects diversity. Their endorsement was one which epitomizes and renders trust, confidence, and support.

Becoming a candidate for North Texas LEAD was a defining moment in my career. I had recently been laid off and back in the market to start a new chapter in my career. I realized that I hadn’t been on a real interview in a decade and I was feeling a little out of touch. Preparing for my interview and going through the interview process at North Texas Lead gave the opportunity to improve my skills and my confidence. During the process, I was challenged with difficult questions that helped temper my answers into job winning responses. I was able to land a position with L3 Link and continue to exercise the skills I gained with North Texas Lead. I am most impressed the continued support I received and the positive attitude and look forward to my continued association with this top notch organization.

North Texas LEAD is a fantastic organization. I worked for corporate America for many years and had not interviewed for a job in more than 20 years. LEAD was instrumental in assisting me with my resume and interviewing skills. I completed an application online and was granted a panel interview in October 2015 and I was accepted into the program. Shortly afterwards, LEAD endorsed me for an open position at the City of Fort Worth where I have now been employed for more than 7 months and am loving my work. Going through the panel interview is like auditioning for the hit show “The Voice.” You are judged on your experience, knowledge, and capability to perform. This may not have happened so quickly without the support I received from LEAD. I am an advocate of LEAD for life!

North Texas LEAD took my job search activities up a notch and helped me land a job at a company where I am able to contribute and continue building my career. The interview process was great preparation for what I eventually experienced as a candidate and the coaching helped position me for putting my best foot forward to land the job. I met the Director of Talent Acquisition for my company at a LEAD networking event and the rest as they say is history. I’ll celebrate my 3-year anniversary later this year and I’ve had the opportunity to work in three different businesses in our division and been promoted twice. I’m loving the people I work with and the company is a great fit for me.

Silk JonathanThe North Texas LEAD Team was instrumental in my transition from the U.S. Army. The team provided incredibly valuable feedback on my resume and interviewing skills which was like a kick in the gut. I recognized the learning opportunity LEAD provided and worked to communicate my leadership skills and strengths effectively. Because of their dedication, I demonstrated during a rigorous interview process how my leadership experience and educational background made me the best fit for the position I applied for at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with North Texas LEAD.
