Job Description
 
American Airlines, Inc. has multiple openings for a Sr. Information Security Engineer to perform the following duties: Responsible for the configuration, deployment, and support of Network Security infrastructure. Utilize Cisco ASAs and other tools, manage and integrate various third party Security and Networking platforms into the American Airlines IT environment. Provide the network security tools which enhance security operations center, corporate security, applications and ensure world class set of managed offerings for customers. Work with business counterparts to validate and process Firewall Access Requests ensuring IT Security Policy is maintained. Develop and implement the enterprise IT security strategies. Provide security consulting services to IT organization and confirm adherence to Company’s security policy and regulatory requirements such as PCI, PII, HIPAA, and SOX. Provide customer support in troubleshooting connectivity issues. Communicate and work effectively with team members on projects and developing solutions to secure the American Airlines Network.
 
 
 
Job Qualifications
 
Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electronic engineering, information technology or related field, plus three years of experience in information security or computer networking, and demonstrated experience in:  Qradar: Skybox Firewall Management; Firemon Firewall Management; Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls; Cisco ASA Firewall; Juniper VPN; McAfee IPS Sensors; Bluecoat Proxy; Advanced Packet Analysis; Advanced Network Routing and Switching; MPLS technologies; Working with vendors, business, partners, and Datacenter hosting services; Team Lead experience. A bachelor’s degree plus five years of progressive experience will be accepted in the alternative.
