Description:  The Director Organizational Effectiveness is responsible for driving improvement throughout the Network and is accountable for delivering strategic, transformational and growth initiatives with the goal of achieving high reliability and value-based care.  This role requires strong analytical skills and understanding of multiple operational functions within a healthcare organization, balanced with the ability to communicate clearly with key stakeholders, and work cross-functionally.
Typical Duties

  1. Supports the Executive Director Quality in the overall strategic planning process through the application of performance improvement expertise and alignment of change initiatives and/or projects to ensure better health of populations and lower costs.
  2. Establish strong, effective and collaborative partnerships with key operational leaders, project managers and subject matter experts to identify specific opportunities or build effective solutions.
  3. Acts as a change agent to sustain a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and ownership.
  4. Responsible for championing a cultural change towards a customer-centric organization, focused on end to end customer experience, operational excellence, process improvement and efficiency.
  5. Participates in the annual goal evaluation and goal setting process.
  6. Evaluates current processes and standard work flows to identify process improvement opportunities.
  7. Develops and executes action plans to mitigate, close, and/or eliminate recurring issues, and ensures key stakeholders are informed of status throughout the project life cycle.
  8. Manages, evaluates and develops team of Operational Effectiveness Specialists to meet deliverables and responsibilities in a timely manner.
  9. Collaborates with the Director Enterprise Project Governance and Director 1115 Waiver to ensure appropriate resource allocation in support of organizational improvement work.
  10. Responsible for the identification, management and execution of initiatives and projects which will deliver operational improvement.
  11. Continually evaluates and learns new tools, processes or approaches to further improve existing change methodologies.
  12. Performs other job related duties as assigned.
