Overview

The AVP Treasury Systems and Projects is responsible for overseeing projects and activities to meet the financial obligations of the organization within the Cash Management department.  This team member is responsible for all phases of projects from concept to post implementation review.  The AVP also participates in the strategic and operational decision making process for the department.
 

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES:
  • Oversees the successful execution of corporate and departmental initiatives for domestic and international operations.
  • Oversees treasury systems and projects related to cash flow, borrowings, debt and capital management.
  • Direct the prioritization of projects within the department and allocate resources as needed.
  • Conduct and/or participate in meetings with different teams throughout the organization to develop a solid understanding of upcoming and ongoing projects and the associated impact to the departments.
  • Make decisions regarding requirements, system evaluation and processes.
  • Review software, technical, and functional requirements to ensure department requirements are thoroughly documented.
  • Coordinate with the domestic and international financial institutions to implement services needed for projects.
  • Coordinate testing including developing test scripts, reviewing documentation and test results and communicating any issues to management, developers and business analysts.
  • Develop new business processes needed for project implementation.
  • Provide training as needed to departments for new processes.
  • Review processes and systems post implementation to identify issues.
  • Update and maintain policies as needed.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements for existing processes.
  • Manage team members by establishing annual performance goals, allocating resources, assessing annual performance, and determining individual merit, incentive and/or promotional increases.
