The City of Fort Worth is currently recruiting to fill a Human Resources Generalist position in the Classification, Compensation and Civil Service (testing) division. The successful candidate will have a HR Generalist background with classification, and compensation to support the Division.  This role will provide support and assist with researching, compiling, computing and analyzing data via a variety of internal and external resources in addition to being responsible for performing the HR-related duties on a professional level.
The Classification, Compensation and Civil Service (testing) division serves a diverse workforce of 6900 employees and provides technical/functional support on a variety of HR programs and which include but are not limited to administrative oversight of all job descriptions, the job classification process, salary plans, the testing processes for Police and Fire Trainees and promotional examinations, and the costing of the Police Meet and Confer and the Fire Collective Bargaining Agreements.
