JOB SUMMARY
The Diversity Recruiting Program Manager performs duties supporting the President and Executive Director’s areas of responsibility and oversees daily operations. Incumbent will support LEAD’s commitment to workplace diversity by helping to connect highly qualified professional job seekers with LEAD partner employers.  
 
Primary responsibilities include: Management of North Texas LEAD’s monthly candidate interview process, quarterly networking events and stakeholder meetings. The program manager is also responsible for managing employer relationships and prospective partnerships. Additional administrative duties include maintaining the LEAD website, posting employer jobs, and managing the LEAD applicant tracking system.
 
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop multi-channel strategies to source candidates and expand talent pool for current/future hiring needs of LEAD partners
  • Develop and expand the outreach of LEAD by identifying employers and community partners with shared interests of LEAD organization
  • Focus on serving as liaison/business partner with assigned employers
  • Ensure suitable openings are posted on website and shared in a timely fashion
  • Contact suitable candidates when appropriate openings exist with partner employers
  • Leads facilitation of monthly briefings and panel interviews by securing locations and volunteers (works closely with program specialist)
  • Participate in staff responsibility of quarterly meetings with stakeholders (Board of Directors, Advisory Council, and HR Executives Network)
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of hiring trends, workforce challenges and other key HR/recruiting issues
  • Ability to inspire candidates at ‘finalist’ stage to create list of anticipated questions


REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Relationship management skills are critical to effectively interact with hiring managers, recruiters and influential stakeholders
  • General technical skills (i.e. Computer Proficiency, Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proven marketing experience (social media and event/organization promotion)
  • Excellent listening and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments with competing priorities (sense of urgency)
  • Ability to process and disseminate sensitive data while maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Strong written, oral communication, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to interface professionally and effectively with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to take initiative and complete projects with limited direction

 PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of recruiting/staffing and/or account management experience
  • 5+ years community outreach, non-profit leadership and/or volunteer management experience
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and/or database management helpful

 EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
