Summary: This position is responsible for day-to-day functions of the compensation and incentive programs.  Other responsibilities include leadership of the document retention program for compensation decisions, leadership of the performance review process for employees, liaison with Payroll Operations, and training of supervisors throughout the System in compensation matters and in methods for performance reviews. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.  A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.  
  • Five to Seven years of experience in the compensation field are required, with a preference for compensation experience in healthcare. 
  • Additional exempt experience in the other Human Resources core disciplines is preferred.  
  • Demonstrated user competencies are required in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.  
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Supervision experience is preferred.  
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification
  • Possession of (or eligibility for) at least one of the following certifications is strongly preferred:  Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
